Busyman
Former singer of Sixpack (Saint – Etienne punk rock combo), Salim aka BUSYMAN, used to keep two records in his pocket, as lucky charms : Husker Du and Suzanne Vega. Last spring, right before he headed off to record his first solo album, it seemed he might have changed these for Polly Jean Harvey and Nick Drake. His singing talks to our deeper self, enlightened by the beauty of a certain sadness and of genuine rage \ a rage to tell. Long time friend, his acoustic guitar accompanies the « busy man» towards unsuspected spheres and a universe where he unveils everything. Piano and cello are also part of this journey, and on one track, samples and drums join along too. Needless to say that beats of a bleeding heart guide this "Chronorupture".
