Cercle Fermé
Originally from the Faourette precinct in Toulouse, City Force is created in 1986. First dedicated to breakdance, the crew opens itself to rap and becomes Cercle Fermé in 1997, when Crash releases their first EP "A qui profitent nos malheurs ?", followed by two auto-produced albums.
The music is sober enough to give a wide place to lyrics, bitterly poetic but never violent, they are a sarcastic analysis of an aggressive reality. Power of the intellect, open-mindedness, intensity, will to make Hip-Hop evolve while keeping their integrity, these are the major features of this "conscious" rap band.
